This ain’t an ordinary book that we come across in our day to day lives. For a matter of what, it’s a very very important book with a totally different genre which talks about ‘humanity, wildlife, nature, God, conservation, importance of life’ and many other topics which helps the readers to ponder to think what we truly are, what’s our true existence on this earth. How and where the things are at stake, because at the end of the day we are all human beings!
Since the beginning of time we ‘social beings’ have been created by the almighty to live in peace and harmony with each other. But on the contrary, what do we do? We take things for granted, kill each and every living organism brutally, abuse the power that has been entrusted to us and we don’t even think twice before harming any human being or any person for that matter and we just keep hurting them, spreading pain, sadness throughout the world. Coming to the point, the book is basically about tiger reserve and many animals who are endangered are are counted as ‘endangered species’ and for change in the matter they can become extinct at any point of time unless the human beings decide to do something about it. Rather than killing them why not take the initiative & trying to save them. The tigers aren’t a play Toy or a means of clothing to be killed and skin them, to be extracted and worn by us as a human being for they are living beings. The theme is basically about awareness which has which has been highlighted and has been talked about and the aim of the book is to touch the readers hearts. Though we’re busy in our lives in our own little ways, it’s necessary that we think of our actions sometimes and do something for the society to make the world a better place to live in because at the end of the day we all have to live in peace and harmony with each other. The book is predictable and unpredictable at times. Characterization has been done well, sequential analysis has been put forward in a very good manner. The concept of friendship, love, pain, happiness, sadness has been extrapolated in a very good manner. Even animals have souls & are not a means of game for us to be extinguished in any manner. Tiger poaching is a crime and this should not happen be taken lightly, serious actions must be taken and it’s necessary we think about it.
Language is simple though there are certain times where we can find some grammatical errors throughout the book. Narration is kind of okay & poetic touch has been given at certain times. It feels while reading, this book can be turn into a typical Bollywood movie because the story is different though it seems predictable at sometimes. The emotions of joy, thriller, crime, happiness, sadness excitement, sympathy, empathy and many other concepts have been interconnected together and the unspoken voice (of the innocent harmless animals) which needs to be protected, taken care & looked after, has been highlighted very carefully in the book. The concept is very unique one and I will recommend this to all the ones who are fed up of reading day-to-day typical sophomore romantic books.
